Lionel Messi Donates Over £315,000 To UNICEF

The four time Ballon d’Or winner….Lionel Messi has made a noteworthy gift to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in a stunning show of benevolence towards impoverished kids all over the world.

The Barcelona star displayed a check of 4.5million Argentine Pesos (£315,000) by means of a video link that was telecast on Spanish network show ‘Un Sol Para Los Chicos’ (A Sun For The Children) – the quivalent of Children In Need.

The gift comes as the Argentine playmaker plans to launch his most recent assault on setting yet more records in a Barcelona shirt, with Luis Enrique’s side set to face Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday night. See more pics bellow.
