Coronavirus Crisis-

Sometimes, it is really good to be a Nigerian!

The rest of the world is in total lockdown because of coronavirus……

It is only Nigeria that doesn’t even know that anything is happening.

Sometimes, it is really good to be a Nigerian! The WHO has been using Nigeria as a case study of how best to handle the Covid-19 pandemic.

For a virus that has brought the almighty America, UK, China, Germany, Spain, etc to their knees and has them shutting down all public places?

For a virus that has seen many other African nations take cue and follow suit…..

But Nigeria is unperturbed!

What do we know that the rest of the world do not know please!

We are going ahead with National Sports Festival billed to hold in Edo; the national youth service orientation camps are open, schools go on; the rest of the world have turned to our professional league to assauge their thirst for some footballing actions. We are doing every other thing normally!

We act as though we are in a different world, far flung from the rest of the bleeding world.

Please, I hope we are not riding our luck too high?
