Nestled in a light carbon fiber structure, the AM-RB 001 is powered with a mid-mounted naturally aspirated V12 that provides the automobile a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio (1 hp per kg). Aston also says so it may have “unprecedented degrees of downforce in a road-legal car.”

Aston Martin plans to create about 99 types of the AM-RB 001, although brand says that when special editions and other prototypes are taken into consideration, there might as much as 150, though there may never become more than that. The term for the automobile can also be undecided, and will undoubtedly be revealed at a later date. Up to now, Aston has received 370 requests with this machine, meaning you will find many people that are likely to be disappointed.

Actual working prototypes of the automobile are expected to start testing in spring of 2017, finding your way through the full launch in 2018. Customers can get to take delivery of the cars in early 2019.
