Fuel scarcity: Queues To Disappear By April 7th- Kachikwu

Taking after backlashes which trailed his comments that the biting fuelFuel scarcity over the nation would continue till May, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, in an emotional u-turn on Tuesday, said that the long lines in the nation’s petrol stations would vanish on Monday, April 7, 2016.

Kachikwu who is likewise the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) unveiled this when he showed up before the Senate board on Petroleum (Downstream) over the fuel shortage ravaging the nation.
The Minister said: “By 6th or 7th April, the long queues in filing stations would disappear.” He apologized to Nigerians over his statement that the biting fuel scarcity will linger till May.
