How Department of State Security, DSS Saved Timaya From Bayelsa Youths

The auspicious intervention of agents of the Department of State Security (DSS) spared dancehall/pop vocalist, Timaya, from being burglarized of his resources by young people of Bayelsa state not long after performing at the All Progressive Congress (APC) mega rally, yesterday, August 15.

Timaya who was ushered into jam-packed stadium by equipped policemen was left unprotected in the wake of performing as the policemen around escorted political fat cats out of the stadium.

He cleared out the stage with a couple of young people who attempted to escort him out of the stadium however other youths joined and attempted to take Timaya’s gold chains and shades yet the “sanko” vocalist immediately remoeved his assets and kept it in his pocket.

The youths who were anticipating that the artist should ‘settle-them’ kept on annoying Timaya until some DSS agents who recognised the music star showered poisonous gas (Tear Gass) to drive the youths off. Timaya who is a Bayelsa indigene was in this manner escorted out of the games complex by the DSS authorities through another gate.
