Nigerian journalist cries out after her landlady threw out her belongings, a day after her rent expired .

Damilola Banire a broadcaster/journalist, whose rent expired on the 28th of November, 2016, wrote: “On the 29th of November at 9:34pm on my way to ilorin I got a call from my neighbor saying my house was being burgled, both doors affixed to the house was broken down.

I was devastated more when I heard it was my Landlady (Elizabeth Olusolape Akintola Ajibola) who lives at no 2 Michael Alagbe street, GRA ikeja Lagos who brought in 5 men to my apartment at House 1, Oni Crescent Unity Estate Iju ishaga to perpetrate this babaric act.

On my arrival, yesterday, 30th, I discovered that my personal effects; Macbook laptop, 60d camera, my jewlries and a cash sum of 350k, all suming up to #1,095,000.00 were gone, as my room was broken and I travelled with my room key.
Since then, my 2 young kids (6 & 2yrs) and my 18 years old cousin, who were at home during the incident, have been in the fear of what happened and have even refused to sleep in the house, and we’ve all been sleeping in a hotel since Tuesday night as both doors where brought down, leaving my apartment open to thieves.

Elizabeth Olusolape Akintola Ajibola goes around claiming she’s a retired magistrate and uses the Nigerian Police to opperess her numerous tenants, saying she has a close relationship with the IG of police.
My life, my kids and property are at greater risk now as the case has officially been reported to Red house police station Iju division, I met with the DPO and the DCO and the IPO assigned to the case is Mr Perry.”
