Review: Alakiti |Starring Jumoke Odetola |Yemi Balq | Yemi Solade|Anti-Culture

A Wife with a foreign name and Husband with a native name gave birth to a Child, Diana another foreign name.

Everything about the film from A-Z is anti-culture (with the exception of Orobiyi meanwhile there has never been any case where someone is being killed during Oro, particularly a Yoruba decent) and tradition as if that is not enough, using words like barbaric to depict your culture, values or tradition is barbaric itself.

There is no way you can have a perfect society. However, it’s okay to have a society where no one is being discriminated against irrespective of their current status. As time goes on, the society will correct itself.

Yes, some Ibadan face tattoos can be annoying but not enough to call that barbaric. This is setting the stage already for massive discrimination. No culture kills its people in Yoruba land West Africa. Propagating such a Scenario is archaic itself as it is over a 200-year old attack against the culture and tradition of the Yoruba race.

Promoting foreign ideology and attacking your tradition is void already in 2017 and years ahead. No level of exposure should make any Yoruba decent be promoting foreign ideology as against its own tradition. If those face tattoos were perfectly designed, it would be okay right ?

Random picture of Diana on Google

Someone with Diana as name would surely grow up to embrace more of the picture above as the film perfectly promotes such ideology. Promoting a foreign ideology while attacking your own tradition is highly unacceptable. It’s the reason many are suffering already. It’s the same reason we have highly low self esteem ladies, bleaching and wanting to turn to Oyinbo.

Poverty is the current state of mind the same way so many things that were once okay later changed to not just okay due to an upgrade in level of thinking and applying the use of common sense.

The Fiction film above is 100% example of how a direct attack, religious war, fraud, misinformation or information war and scam went on against the Yoruba civilization (Isese). Esu is not satan or devil, it has never been and it will never be ! “Gbogbo Emi Esu ti o wa ninu Aye e”: The Yoruba phrase  was repeated several times in a propagative way. A total blaspheme and not understanding the role Esu plays in Yoruba Tradition or second to none ...
