AREWA Consultative Forum ( ACF ) has told those agitating for the Biafra Republic out of Nigeria to revoke their choice in light of the fact that it is an incomprehensible undertaking subsequent to the Republic was dead around 45 years, and couldn’t be resurrected any more.

This was contained in an announcement signed by ACF National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim after the meeting of the national official Council of the Forum in Kaduna.

ACF said the constant spate of protests by the members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) in the South-East and South-South states was excessively serious and retrogressive in nature, making it impossible to be waved aside without calling for its end.

The announcement likewise expressed worry over the disturbing rate of hijacking of innocent persons for ransom by some shooters in different parts of the nation. It encouraged security offices to try harder in arresting the culprits of this unholy wrongdoing and bring them to justice.
