Buhari maintains commanding lead in NIger

Presidential election results for six more local governments in Niger State have been collated in Minna, bringing total LG results announced to 21.

Results for the remaining four LGs have yet to arrive.

The Returning Officer for Niger State, Prof. Abduganiu Ambali, who is the Vice Chancellor, University of Ilorin, has announced a break pending the arrival of the remaining results.

Buhari has won all the LGs announced so far.

Results of newly collated LGs are

Rijau LGA: APC 17,214; PDP 7,573

Mashegu LGA: APC 27,953; PDP 3,355

Magama LGA: APC 20,761; PDP 11,183

Rafi LGA: APC 36,921; PDP 4,215

Edati LGA: APC 11,691; PDP 7,117

Agaie LGA: APC 18,424; PDP 4,132
