JUST IN: Independence Blast Suspect, Charles Okah Passes on In Kuje Prison

Charles Okah
Charles Okah, alleged mastermind of the Independence Day bombing in 2010 has reportedly died in Kuje prisons where he has been held in custody for a number of years now.
That twin bomb blast on October 1, 2010, which was the first to be witnessed in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, left scores dead and many more injured.
Quoting “sources close to the prison administration,” 247ureports.com said that Okah died in prison custody shortly after returning from a scheduled court appearance.

It’d be recalled that the suspect had attempted suicide on two different occasions. Although the information surrounding his alleged death remains sketchy, there are indications he may have died of suicide.

Just yesterday, Charles Okah had attempted to kill himself while at the court house – for a court appearance.

According to the report of a security agent, Charles Okah might have also died from mismanaged interrogation by prison officials and other government investigators.
