  • A large U.S. military convoy entered the city of Qamishli;
  • Russia is reportedly working to create a new pro-government militia in al-Hasakah;
  • A series of firefights between Turkish-led forces and SDF units took place near Seida;
  • Shiraaz Mohamed, a South African photojournalist who was abducted by unknown militants in Syria’s Idlib more than three years ago, has reportedly escaped his captors;
  • The US-led coalition is reportedly planning to involve Saudi Aramco to expand its oil smuggling buisiness in the Omar oil fields;
  • The Syrian Air Force resumed airstrikes on militants’ positions in southern Idlib;
  • WikiLeaks released more documents destroying the mainstream Douma attack narrative.
