Supreme Court rules in favour of PDP in Akwa Ibom, Abia govs’ elections

The Supreme Court on Wednesday confirmed the elections of Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State and ‎Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.  A seven-man bench presided by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, consistently avowed the governors’ decisions in the wake of maintaining their different appeals against the judgments of the Court of Appeal which had requested their removal from office.
