Nigerians react to Super Eagles Missing AFCON 2017

The Super Eagles of Nigeria won’t be in Gabon for the 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) on the grounds that they just got thumped out by a lone goal to the Pharaohs of Egypt in Alexandria.

The Eagles went into the Alexandria game in critical need of a win yet the versatile Pharaohs guaranteed that the 3-time champions pass up a major opportunity for the second consecutive edition.

In spite of the fact that, it was 0-0 at half time, the Egyptians dependably looked more inclined to win the match having
shaken the Nigerian defence on many events in the primary half.

The Nigerians were restricted to short passes, not able to change over their possession into endeavors on goal.

The second half saw the Pharaohs keeping up the energy lastly got their goal in the 65th minuete.

Indeed, even Eagles’ introduction of Alex Iwobi fizzled with the sparkle found in the reverse leg in Kaduna and the Egyptians saw out the match to seal their qualification for the AFCON.

Disappointed Nigerians have taken to Twitter to lament.
