Boat Conveying 28 Passengers Capsizes In Ikorodu Area of Lagos State.

A boat conveying 28 travelers has overturned in Ikorodu Area of Lagos State. ‎New Telegraph learnt that the occurrence happened at Origin Jetty, Ikorodu few meters from the jetty.  An official of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), who confined in New Telegraph, said the incident happened when the ‎boat smashed into wooden logs on the waterway. The source included that 27 travelers have been rescued out of 28 people in the vessel by LASWA water watches. Efforts to rescue the remaining traveler were ongoing while office has additionally initiated investigations into the accident.
