Nigerian Policemen Searching For ‘Guns’ In Phones & Pockets Of Passersby In Ijanikin (Photos)

An Ooduarere blog reader complained about some pair of policemen always searching people indiscriminately.

Based on the source who also shared pictures, these police officers staying in iyana era bus stop Ijanikin, Lagos State are indiscriminately searching the phones and pockets of passersby. It had been reported they harass passerby almost every day.

Even Google hasn’t been searched such as this before.

Does the police have any right to stop and search people’s phone harassing the masses’ rights to privacy?
