Akalamagbo is a ground horn bill (Bucorvidae) it is closely associated to the vulture in Oodua (Yoruba) culture and lore because of looks and it,is greatly respected because of its vast intelligence and its ability to live long, one of the very few birds which can live up to fifty years.
