The Nigerian health minister, according to some reports, just announced that the second coronavirus case in Nigeria has tested negative.

Sadly, rather than be thankful to God for this cheery news, as well as hail the NCDC, Lagos State, the FG and other relevant agencies for the way they have thus far managed this outbreak, a feat which has attracted commendations from various international bodies, some incorrigible naysayers are rather making mockery of the whole situation. To these elements, it is “audio” coronavirus. Government simply announced that Nigerian coronavirus case just to map out money to “chop”.

Yesterday, the minister was in conference with international diplomats where he announced to them the progress of the index case, and the fact that he would be discharged soon.

From day one, Nigeria announced that the index case is an Italian, they mentioned the flight that brought him in, mentioned the company he went to….company which was also shut down as a result and some of their workers quarantined or isolated. It beats me how adults who parade academic certificates could believe that all these were just grand plan to “chop” government money.

The index case is mentioned as Italian, how do these adults think that Nigeria would make such claims and the Italian embassy or high commission in Nigeria never sought to confirm such claim? Can Nigeria do that? Is there any way the representatives of the Italian government in Nigeria will not know whether Nigeria lied against their citizen or not?

Or did Nigeria also recruit the Italian government and its Nigerian officials into the grand plan and into silence? Even the press, including the international press, most of which have commended the nation?

Sadly, some of these people are people that laughed at the Ipob for believing that the man in Aso Rock is one Jubril from Sudan, and wondered how Trump, Putin, FBI, and all could all be fooled.

If these people believe that Nigeria has fooled the whole world or bought them into criminal silence on this coronavirus claim, why is it difficult for them to believe that Buhari died since and was buried in Saudi Arabia with the knowledge of the whole world leaders of course, all of who were recruited into the scheme by Abba Kyari and his team of cabal?

It’s funny really. You just don’t know whether to pray that the virus hits Nigeria like it has hit Italy, so we can believe.

It’s so sad.

What do Nigerians really want and wish for their nation?

Even the money that has been released to prevent this virus or fight it, who told these people that the funds are resting in people’s pockets, while they wait to see whether there would be outbreak or not?

Nigeria and the NCDC are currently expanding capacities without waiting. More isolation units are currently being created across the nation; labs are being equipped to improve capacity. I know how many teaching hospitals that have been visited by the CDC for isolation units and proper fittings, still those who are wont to rubbish the nation at every opportunity will never see anything good.

The same people will believe that Ghana has two cases; they will believe that the Ghana government released $100m to fight the pandemic; they will also believe that those in charge in Ghana are using their funds judiciously.

But for their own nation, it is AUDIO!
