Nigerian Police Uses Drone To track And Arrest Pastor, Mother Of 7, For Helping Militants Hide Their Guns

Perutun Governor, a Pastor of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion,at Igando, Lagos, plus a mother-of-seven, Ebimabo Jojo, 47, have now been arrested by the Police in Lagos for allegedly keeping guns and preparing food for militants.

The boat operator- turned Pastor was purported to be using his church located near the river at Ewedogbon, as a haven for kidnappers. Also, it’s thought that the uniforms employed by criminals during bank robberies were kept in his church.

The Lagos Police also gathered that whenever operatives were on the trail of the kidnappers, they (kidnappers) could leave the creeks to get refuge in the church, pretending to be mentally deranged persons have been brought for spiritual healing.

On her part, Jojo, was discovered to own a camp at Ijegemo creeks, from where she allegedly aided kidnapers by informing them of the clear presence of intruders. She was also considered running errands for them such as for example taking food to the kidnappers and their hostages.

Law enforcement stated that Peretun’s face was captured by drone deployed into the region, while he was hiding the militants’guns and Jojo’s face was also captured while she was taking food to the militants in the creek.

During preliminary investigation, Jojo confessed to have worked with late Ateke, a kidnaper and armed robbery kingpin who killed some policemen and civilians during a bank robbery in Lekki and Agbara regions of Lagos and Ogun states last year.
