President Buhari Retires NIMASA Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration

President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi as Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). An announcement by Femi Adesina, the special adviser to the President on media and publicity, the stopping of Mr. Akpobolokemi’s appointment takes immediate effect.

“He is to hand over the management of NIMASA and all government property in his possession to the most senior officer in the agency who will remain in charge until a new Director-General is appointed,” the statement said.
