Reuters has reported citing the local police that the initial indications were that it was a militant attack.

According to Sputnik news agency, a blast aboard a bus in southwestern Jerusalem left at least 20 victims. A cloud of smoke has been seen from kilometers away.

According to local television images, smoke billowing from a burned-out bus on Derech Hebron, in southwest Jerusalem.

The authorities have not immediately clarified regarding casualties  yet.
