A noteworthy atomic power plant in South Carolina burst into flames Sunday, which prompted the shutdown of a reactor. Authorities express that the flame has been extinguished and there has been no release of radioactive materials.
Plant personnel were not evacuated, and the plant authorities assert that there is no danger to the office’s neighbors.
Power plant site VP Scott Batson said the shutdown of Unit 1 did not bring on any power blackouts, as Units 2 and 3 kept up with energy demand.

As per Batson, oil inside the transformer began the flame. Oil is utilized as a part of a transformer in various ways, including electrical protection, heat dissipation, and electric circular segment concealment. The exact reason for ignition is right now under investigation.
