Unwanted Pregnancy: How To Avoid it

At puberty between 12 and 14 ages but earlier for some 10 or 11 years, the ova begins to mature, during the period known as the follicular phase, an ovum enlarge as a type of cyst called a greafran follicle until it reaches the surface of the ovary where transport occurs. The ovum is discharged into the peritoneal cavity. This periodic discharged of matured ovum is referred to as ovulation.

The ovum usually finds its way into the fallopian tube, where it is carried to the uterus. If it meets a spermatozoon the male reproductive cell fertilization occurs and conception takes place. But if it is not fertilize after 12 hours of its release it disintegrates and is absorbed back to the body. Many cases of unwanted pregnancy and illegal abortion can be avoided with the proper knowledge of the ovulation and the menstrual cycle. Unfortunately many of our young girls have failed the victims of unwanted pregnancy due to ignorance of accurate timing of the ovulation period. Understanding Your Cycle and Avoiding Unwanted Pregnancy

However the menstrual cycle is normally 28 days but there are normal variations from 21 to 42 days it starts as puberty and stops at menopause. Menstruation is characterized by discharge of bloody mucous menstrual flow. It lasts about 3 to 5 days, ovulation occurs 14th day after the stop of the menstrual flow. The sperm cells after ejaculation can survive up to 2 to 4 days in the female reproductive system. But the egg after ovulation can survive for only 12 hours after which it generates. If women have had sexual intercourse 2 to 4 days before the ovulation day, there is probability that she might get pregnant because sperm cells can survive up to 4 days after ejaculation in the female reproductive tract and many fertilize the egg as soon as it ovulated.

A range of two days before and two days after 10 days the menstruation stops that is 8 to 12 days should be at puberty between 12 and 14 ages but earlier for some 10 or 11 years, the ova begins to mature, during the period known as the follicular phase, an ovum enlarge as a type of cyst called a greafran follicle until it reaches the surface of the ovary where transport occurs. When to Abstain from Sexual Intercourse to Avoiding Unwanted Pregnancy

If women have had sexual intercourse 2 to 4 days before the ovulation day, there is probability that she might get pregnant because sperm cells can survive up to 4 days after ejaculation in the female reproductive tract and many fertilize the egg as soon as it ovulated. A range of two days before and two days after 10 days the menstruation stops that is 8 to 12 days should be intercourse free to avoid unwanted pregnancy. For couples seeking for children, the ovulation period should be a period when the rate of sexual intercourse should be intensified to increase the chance of achieving fertilization.

My advice to our girls is to abstain from pre-marital sex and don’t ever you allowed a man to copulate with you between 12th to 16th days after the onset of your menstruation or 8th to 12th days after your menstruation flow cease because this is the only way you can avoid unwanted pregnancy and probably an illegal abortions.

Be wise.
