A leaked brochure demonstrates the 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 S will pack 604 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque.
The typical Mercedes-AMG E63 won’t be far behind, bringing 563 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. Both models will undoubtedly be powered with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that’s also present in the C63 and C63 S models. The powerplant will undoubtedly be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive, helping the E63 go from zero to 62 mph in less than 3.7 seconds, as the stronger S variant is going to do exactly the same sprint in 3.5 seconds. Both models may have their top speed electronically limited by 155 mph.
