SEE ALSO: Where to buy 2017 BMW M5
The 2018 BMW M5 is relied upon to have a redesigned adaptation of the German automaker’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 motor giving around 620 horsepower. It will probably have a xDrive all-wheel-drive alternative that will have a back wheel inclination, while the standard transmission will be a seven-speed, double clutch unit. Considering BMW is dumping the manual transmission on the current M5 and M6 models later this year, don’t expect to see a manual choice for the cutting edge M5.
