Previous Anambra state Governor, Dr Peter Obi paid a solidarity visit to the Nigerian group in South Africa yesterday April 20th after the late strings of xenophobic assaults in the nation.
Grouped records by the Nigerian community demonstrates that 50 Nigerians have so far lost their Businesses and assets since these assaults started.

Yesterday, the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) shutdown companies in Kano, Lagos and Onitsha for outstanding tax liabilities. In Onitsha, the warehouse of Next International Company, owned by former Anambra Governor, Peter Obi, was sealed. The company has tax liabilities of N20.4million, having failed to pay Company Income Tax, Withholding Tax and Education Tax since 2006.
