So ifa Actually forbids Human Sacrifice:  Ifa is Against Human Sacrifice – Must read

Orunmila expressly declared it in odu Ifa irete meji that no babalawo or devotee of Ifa should engage in using blood of human beings as sacrifice . in this post I will explain what happened in that odu Ifa and what make Orunmila himself to declare that no Ifa devotee should engage in human sacrifice. It in odu Ifa irete meji where Orunmila expressly state it. this odu Ifa is a complex odu  because it deal with almost three important issues. One is the  forbidden of human sacrifice, second is the prevention of selling another human being to slavery, third is the advantages of being familiar with one culture and historical origin. But the part of this odu that I will talk on today is the prevention of prohibition of human sacrifice as laid down and commanded by Orunmila. You will need to take your time to read this post carefully. In odu ifa irete meji ifa said :
Ifa ni Ina o jo Kan omi oduro
Igbin posese de idi iyo o peyinda
Ka gbo riru ebo Ka ru
Ka gbo titu etitu Ka tu
Ka gbo okara ebo Ka ha dele kereke
Babalawo Olumena lo difa fun olumena
Nijo ti olumena yi o lo ra agburin leru
