*Threatens To Sue PDP Twitter Admin

Presidential representative Malam Garba Shehu said the PDP lied in asserting that he purchased USD 800,000 from the Central Bank of Nigeria at 185 naira, including that he will resign from his position the day he began trading forex.

Opposition Restriction Peoples Democratic Party, PDP through its verified Twitter handle had claimed that the Senior Special collaborator to President Muhammadu Buhari ,Mallam Garba Shehu got USD 800,000 at N185 from the CBN on the guideline of the apex bank representative, Godwin Emefiele. The party further asserted that Shehu sold the said sum that day at N350.

Responding to the charge, Shehu said; “It is a lie by PDP to say I purchased USD 800,000 from the CBN. I had just two FOREX purchases since coming into government: Eight thousand Dollars (USD 8,000) sent to my little girl and nephews through UBA. This is verifiable”.
