South Carolina bans abortion after 19 weeks

South Carolina has turned into the most recent state in the United States to ban abortion. Republican Gov. Nikki Haley signed the enactment yesterday and the law bans all premature births at 20 weeks beyond preparation unless the mother’s life is in danger or a specialist decides the fetus can’t survive outside the womb.

Like most comparative laws, it contains no special cases for rape or incest. As indicated by the Bill sponser, Republican Wendy Nanney, she is hopeful the law is a first step to finally get rid of abortion.  Doctors to pay up to $10,000 in fines and three years in behind bar on the off chance that they are found doing found unlawfully.
