Yoruba culture originates from Egypt?

Is it not amazing that they actually want me to believe that the Yoruba culture comes from Egypt?
Or that Ifa originates from China?
Or that Orunmila is from Libya or some other exotic country?

I always tell them: what aspect of Yoruba oral history don’t you understand?
Is our oral tradition not clear enough, when it says Ile Ife is the origin of the world, and that all orisas descended from the sky and started life in Ile Ife?

Where did they get all this mumbo-jumbo esoterica about Egypt and China, and so forth and so forth about Oduduwa?
