Chief Matron of the Lagos State House of Assembly Found Dead


The Chief Matron of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mrs. Caroline Oriola, who had been absent since Saturday has been discovered dead in her office. Oriola was discovered dead early today by a cleaner who had resumed work to clean the facility discovered her corpse.

It was learnt that the Chief Matron had advised her Husband that she was heading off to her office on Saturday to get a few medications. She supposedly drove her auto to the Assembly complex , parked at the lawmakers’ car park, before continuing to her office. She was likewise said to have turned on air conditioner in her office and locked the entryway from inside.

The reason for her demise is presently obscure.

There have been lots of crying and wailing at the Assembly by staff members.
