Agents of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have struck the Abuja home of a previous Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, couple of hours after she was captured in London.
EFCC operators arrived Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s palatial home, situated in upmarket Asokoro region of Abuja, and sealed the property Friday evening. Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke was on Friday captured in London. The previous minister, who was a standout amongst the most capable authorities of the President Goodluck Jonathan organization, was captured Friday morning alongside four other individuals by the UK National Crime Agency. The four’s personalities other individuals captured alongside her couldn’t be instantly ascertained. PREMIUM TIMES learnt she was captured for offenses identified with bribery and corruption being investigated by the UK National Crime Agency.
Two top British authorities in London have affirmed the development to this daily paper. They asked for not to be named in light of the fact that they had no permission to talk on the issue.
