Ekiti State, Honorable Akanni is not Dead – DSS

The Department of State Security Services on Thursday dismissed claims that Honorable Akanni Afolabi, a member from Ekiti State House Assembly who has been in its care since a week ago has passed on. The Service said this in response to claims by the Ekiti State Government that the official who has been since he was captured a week ago is dead. Tony Opuyo, representative for DSS rejected the statement in an announcement read out to writers in Abuja that the lawmaker is not dead.

The DSS additionally showed the official who looked extremely feeble before columnists. The legislator confirmed to writers that he is Honorable Afolabi.
