In spite of the fact that the reason for the blast is yet to be ascertained , the occurence was further affirmed by the National Emergency Management Agency. As per a report by Premium Times, a beer parlour along L and K Road, in Oworonsoki range of Lagos blasted on Sunday evening, October 11, 2015, leaving four individuals injured. It was further reported that the victims have since been rushed to a close-by doctor’s facility for treatment. Despite the fact that the reason for the blast is yet to be found out, the occurence was further affirmed by the National Emergency Management Agency.
”Fire service and police are trying to find out the cause as the shop was locked at the time of explosion,” said Ibrahim Farinloye, NEMA Spokesperson, South West.
‘Crowd are greatly impeding emergency works. We call on them to leave the area entirely. The explosion partly affected a building next to the beer parlour with no serious effects on human beings,” he told Premium Times.
