Vows Not To Pay Ransom
Previous President Goodluck Jonathan has promised not to bow to the interest of the criminals of his uncle, Chief Nitabai Inegite to secure his release.
The ex-president said he would not pay any ransom to the captors.
Boss Nengite, matured 72, a resigned lecturer with the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, who is likewise a foster father to the previous president, was whisked far from his Otuoke country home on February 17 alongside his youthful cousin, Samuel Okies.
Okies was later discovered dead at Otuoke River.
The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police, Mr Peter Ogunyanwo who revealed this in Yenagoa amid the parade of 37 outfitted burglary and suspected ruffians at the command base camp hailed the position taken by Jonathan not to pay ransom in order to discourage kidnapping.
