Man Hangs Himself Over An Alleged Misunderstanding With Wife,

*Police Investigating Possible Murder
Residents of Aboru, Lagos State, were on Sunday thrown into pandemonium, as some labourers working in a nearby building discovered the body of a 28-year-old motorcyclist, Tunde, dangling on a rope in an uncompleted building.

Police officers from the area visited the scene and took the body away. Tunde had reportedly tied a rope to the roof of the decked building, climbed on four blocks and kicked away one of them after he put the rope round his neck.

The deceased recently got married. Some residents stated that he had been having a running battle with his wife in the past few weeks, a development that eventually led to the woman packing out of her matrimonial home and it could be one of the reasons why he decided to kill himself.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for Lagos State police command, Dolapo Badmos, said: “The Lagos State Police Command is trying to unravel the cause of death and the perpetrators of the dastardly act. The report of the incident received stated that the victim might have been strangled to death and hanged by unknown assailant(s).”
