History Repeating itself ? #OccupyNigeria trends again as FG removes fuel Subsidy

Four years after the Occupy Nigeria protest against fuel subsidy remova cleared the nation over and slanted on the online social media, #OccupyNigeria is back once again. Just like the case in January 2012 when the Goodluck Jonathan organization reported fuel subsidy removal, the hash tag is restored again in response to subsidy removal and a possibly colossal hike in fuel price.

Earlier in the day, the Minister of State for Petroleum, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu, reported the deregulation of the downstream part of the petroleum business, adequately ending fuel subsidy.
