No Causalities Reported at Damascus International Airport after Israeli Airstrike

Israeli airstrikes damaged structures at the air terminal and in Damascus suburbs, however there were no casualities so far reported.

DAMASCUS, December 7 (Ooduarere) — No causalities have been reported after Israeli Air Force airstrikes on Syria’s Damascus International Airport, a source in Syrian armed force’s Joint Staff revealed on Sunday.

An alternate source in the Syrian armed force aloso revealed that the airstrikes have harmed the structures at the air terminal and in Damascus suburb

 “Today after midday Israeli planes have conducted two airstrikes, one close to Damascus international airport, another one in Dimus region. According to preliminary information, buildings have been damaged. There is no other information,” the source said.

Earlier in the day, Syrian military sources revealed that the airstrikes additionally focused on an arms stop, where blasts were heared.

Syrian Joint Staff denounced the assaults in a press release, stating that these airstrikes demonstrate that Israel directly upholds terrorism. Damascus added that the airstrikes were directed directly after Syrian armed force had made a few advancement and incompletely recovered control from activists in Deir Al-Zor.

Earlier in the day, Syrian military sources revealed that the Israeli Air Force had directed a few airstrikes near Damascus global air terminal, and in Dimus area, targeting also an arms warehouse. A few blasts could be heard after the assault.

Hezbollah is a Lebanese Shiite paramilitary and political association. Perceived as a terrorist bunch by numerous western nations, Hezbollah is one of Israel’s most capable opponents.
