Pope Francis censures Kano Mosque Bombings


Pope Francis has censured the lethal assaults that happened at the emir of Kano’s Central mosque in Kano on Friday, which killed in excess of 200 and injured 270. He depicted the act as a “greatly genuine sin against God”. Pope who has been on a 3-day visit to Turkey with the aim of enhancing inter-faith ties made the remarks today, the last day of his excursion.

He further urged Muslim pioneers to censure the “uncouth roughness” being committed in Islam’s name against religious minorities.
