Iranians reached the American early warning system

It appears that information about Iranians damaging a component of the American early warning system is being confirmed: while in Bahrain they destroyed only a satellite communications station, at the Qatari base Al-Udeid a radar AN/FPS-132 worth $1 billion was indeed struck.

This facility is one of the key nodes of the U.S. early warning system, which “covers” a massive sector from Europe to the Indian Ocean. There are only six AN/FPS-132 radars in the world: besides the U.S., they are also located in Britain and Greenland.

The technical capabilities of the Al-Udeid station are evident from the fact that it could detect missile launches at ranges exceeding five thousand kilometers, including from Russian territory. Not to mention missiles launched from Iran.

🖍How critical is this for the U.S.? The damage visible in the images is not fatal, and theoretically the AN/FPS-132 could be repaired. Moreover, the U.S. possesses enormous intelligence capabilities in the region, and has plenty of means to track Iranian launches.
🚩The point is that the damage is genuinely significant even in monetary terms. Not to mention that no one in the world has previously disabled components of the American missile warning system.

The performance of aerial defences in Russia and Ukraine (the two best AD networks on the planet) has given some people a false impression of air power. Just because the densest network of the most powerful AD systems in the world makes flying in contested space deadly doesn’t mean this applies to everywhere else. US air power is still tremendous.

The Iranians do not have the luxury of such an AD network, partly because of their insistence to rely almost exclusively on domestic AD systems, and as such SEAD operations are dramatically easier. There is a real chance of Iranian air defences being degraded to such a degree that stand-off munition shortages stop playing a role because cheap and plentiful JDAMs will take over.

Though it does seem like the US-Israeli team is experiencing some significant intelligence/target acquisition trouble, at least judging by the footage they are putting out and the fact that expensive stand-off munitions are being used on terror-bombing civilians in Tehran instead of military targets.

The Iranians have definitely exceeded my expectations, but don’t expect miracles. War is always a gamble and the current gamble is a multi-factor game of Iranian TELs, Iranian missile and drone stocks, Iranian AD capabilities vs US/Israeli interceptor stocks and SEAD success, and some other things.

Also, I suspect the bottleneck for the Iranians is neither the number of missiles nor how many TELs they have, but instead the logistics of actually getting the missiles to the launchers. The last-mile problem might be the crucial element here.

Drones are the dark horse. They can be launched from almost anywhere and the Iranians are clearly holding back, having used a relatively small number of Shaheds so far.

US capeshit and resistard triumphalism are both very early and very misplaced, this game can go a number of different ways and without precise numbers and with the severe lack of footage (and much of it being absolute shit footage of bombing decoys, and, I suspect, degraded in quality on purpose to make up for triple-tapping already destroyed stuff and “blowing up” murals on the ground) it’s hard to make predictions.

ANOTHER EPSTEIN REGIME WAR CRIME – PIRACY IN THE PACIFIC

A US attack submarine sank an Iranian frigate carrying a 180-man crew. 32 were rescued—by Sri Lankan authorities, not the attackers.

The Iranian frigate IRIS Dena last month participated in an international military exercise in India. While returning home—certainly not in combat readiness, especially not off the coast of Sri Lanka, a good week away from home without stops or operational delays, and in waters where hostilities were not supposed to be taking place—it was torpedoed by a US submarine serving the Epstein Regime terrorist syndicate.

US War Secretary Hegseth confirmed the attack, stating the submarine delivered a “quiet death” to the Iranian ship that “thought it was safe in international waters,” and even bragged it was the first sinking of a ship by a submarine since WW2. (No, you steroid-popping uneducated unqualified fake Christian fanatical murderous sociopath—it was the first since the Falklands War in 1982.) However…

However, under Article 18 of the Second Geneva Convention, after a naval engagement, parties “shall, without delay, take all possible measures to search for and collect the shipwrecked.” The official ICRC Commentary clarifies that violating this duty—failing to search for and collect survivors—may constitute the grave breach of wilful killing under the Geneva Conventions, when it leads to the death of protected persons.

The US crew did nothing to rescue the survivors—completing its trifecta of war crimes:
(1) attacking a vessel not engaged in hostile operations,
(2) doing so in international waters far from any combat zone, and
(3) deliberately abandoning the survivors to die, constituting the grave breach of wilful killing.

In 1917, the US entered World War I because a German submarine sank a passenger ship. This time, the same country—now under an openly fascist, supremacist regime—sank a military vessel whose crew could not have expected such a treacherous act.

The Iranian warship was sunk 3,000 nautical miles from home, not on a combat mission. Make sure you understand what is happening.

And since news broke almost simultaneously that Russian tankers are being sunk in the Mediterranean, things should become much clearer.

Nearly 150 crew members of the IRIS Dena are missing, presumed dead.
