What is Russian Navy Ships Doing at Iranian Port?

A Russian Navy fleet is set to cross Iranian regional waters and billet off the nation’s coast on Sunday, IRNA reported.

The expedition is implied as an indication of “Peace and Friendship” and is intended to fortify common trust and well disposed relations between the nations.

The ships are expected berth in Iran’s fourth naval zone on August 9. The officer of the fleet will supposedly visit the Northern Gilan area and meet with nearby political and military powers.

The Russian Navy fleet has officially entered Iran’s regional waters two times with comparative undertakings: in 2007 and 2014.
