Imo state representative, Rochas Okorocha says in contrary to stories being sold by the opposition in his state, he’d purchased his private jet before becoming a governor, an evidence that he didn’t use the state’s money to purchase one. The governor said this after a few government officials in the state asked him to sell his private jet and use the generated avenue to address unpaid pay salaries of civil servants in the state. Okorocha’s response is contained in an announcement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, today August 27th. See it bellow.
