“I’ll elevate Eze Ndigbo to the status of Oba of Lagos”- Jimi agbaje (What’s Omo Oodua’s reaction to this?)

“I will elevate Eze Ndigbo to the status of Oba of Lagos”- Jimi agbaje. “Igbo developed and control Lagos” – Jimi Agbaje. I personally feel embarrassed by these comments, I believe Jimi Agbaje has sold the Yoruba people out cheaply because of dire search for power.

I guess this is reason why the Oba was furious with the Ibos.

“I personally feel this is playing the tribal card again, “scoring cheap political point” but  not in the direct interest of the people. This is the kind of idea that divides the people more and in Lagos where people are more united compare to any other state. People come here to do Business, earn a living and when you  say such thing in a complex society where people react to any form of cultural division, it will only lead to doom or failure of the society.”

He should have said something like, “Lagos is for all and I will make life far better for everyone than my opponent”. This makes perfect sense but not scoring cheap political point against your opponent playing the Tribalistic card.
