Gov. Obiano swears in Nigeria’s youngest commissioner

Governor Obiano of Anambra State, officially swears in Nigeria’s youngest commissioner.n

 

Mark Okoye II, 30, has been sworn in by the Anambra State governor. Flanked by his wife, he was inaugurated today whilst the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Development Partners. The governor had reportedly wanted to make him a commissioner years back, but there is an age limit.

He studied Finance at George Washington University and was a former Associate at Afrinvest West Africa. He was also a former Executive Director, Anambra State Investment Promotion & Protection Agency and also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Economic Planning and Budget. Okoye celebrated his 30th birthday couple of days ago.
