Northern Farmers To Raise N5b For Buhari-Osinbajo Presidential Campaign

A gathering of yam agriculturists all over some northern states in the nation have swore to backing the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari’s campaign in the 2015 general elections  with N5 billion. The gathering revealed this in an announcement made accessible to NAN in Jos on Today.

Rev. Jacob Musa, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the agriculturists under the name “Buhari-Osinbajo Presidential Appeal Campaign Fund (BOPCAF), said that ranchers from 10 states of the region were arranging the fund raiser.

Agriculturists from Taraba, Nasarawa, Plateau, Adamawa, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Niger and Kaduna states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, would show up at the event.

Meanwhile they want to raise the money by offering five million tubers of yam at  unique cost of N1,000 each towards raising the said N5 billion in backing of the APC candidate.
