The Nigerian Golden Eaglets have emerged victor of the FIFA U17 World Championship in Chile.  The Eaglets became the champ for the fifth time in the wake of crushing Mali in an all-African last by 2 goals to nil. It would be reviewed that until their thrashing at the final against the Eaglets, the Malian team had won each match from the group stage. In the interim, Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen put the Nigerian side ahead with a goal, couple of minutes into the second half before Bamgbose netted the 2nd goal for the Eaglets at the 62nd minute.
