3 Nigerians bag ‘CNN’-Multichoice African Journalists Award

Yemisi Akinbobola, Ogechi Ekeanyanwu, and Chika Oduah emerged winners in different categories at the 2016 CNN Multichoice African Journalists Award held at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa, yesterday night.

 

Akinbobola and Ekeanyanwu won in the Sports reporting category for their story on trafficking of young Nigerian footballers to Europe. Oduah won in the Technology and Innovation Reporting category for her story titled ‘The App that saved 1000 children.’
