All across the continent, the sheep-like Afrikan leaders have done excellently well in maintaining the basic agenda of neocolonialism. Neocolonialism in Afrika has no other basic agenda than the preservation of the continent’s position in the international capitalist division of labour ultimately as a source of raw materials, cheap labour, and readymade lucrative markets to invade. More reason why the oil, copper, cobalt, diamonds, etc. have not translated into development. This neocolonial task preserved by the ruling class in Afrika have ignited the crisis of debt. The far too many capitalist oriented, costly and unproductive investment ventures across the continent have made life unbearable for the masses.
The Afrikan misrulers are therefore the weeds that the labouring Afrikan working masses must get rid of. The presence of these mobsters had fortified imperialism so much so that it is apparently impossible for radical nationalists to emerge in today’s Afrika. As it has been studied through the continuing debt crisis in Afrika, over the decades, more capital has been flowing out of the continent in it’s most alarming rate. And ironically, a chunk of this capital has been going to the same imperialist countries. In their most confused state, the Afrikan misrulers are patronizing one imperialists to the other. The dominance of imperialism had consequently affected every sector on the continent. There is an intellectual crisis in Afrika at the moment.
Today, the dominant social sciences, arts and humanities have become bankrupt manipulative tools for encouraging the Afrikan Vagabonds in Power (VIP) to take to more neoliberal policies that wrecks the economy. These same fields, with the exception of few, have also become the emblem of mental slavery. Imperialism through all forces, especially through racism had successfully negated the humanity of the Afrikan masses; and capitalism from all intents and purposes had led to the impoverishment of the same masses. The mass of Afrikan people in view of all of these factors must therefore see the rise and development of capitalism and imperialism as the real enemies. The only hope to change the tide is a class struggle – a socialist Afrika cannot and must not be a myth!!!
