I Bought A terrorist Phone On Amazon. Please Help!

Hi people. I purchased a used telephone on amazon. When it touched base here in Nigeria and I put in my sim it didn’t work. I checked online and the imei has been listed on terrorist list by t-portable. If it’s not too much trouble is there any answer for this issue? Could I open it or have the imei changed? I can’t give back the telephone on the grounds that the expense of shipping it back is high. It would be ideal if you house could help so this telephone doesn’t turn to a waste. Much Thanks.
