Ex-military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida is pictured with late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua and former governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, on a pilgrimage in 1989. Nyako was appointed Chief of Naval Staff in December 1989.
