Fashola, Gbajabiamila lose local government.  The Peoples Democratic Party has won Surulere Local Government in the presidential election.

The local government is where Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and the House of Representatives minority leader, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, hail from.

While the APC got 52,798 votes, the
PDP got 58,649
